The monument for king Maximilian II of Bavaria shows allegoric figures of the virtues of this ruler: power (the first image), wisdom (the second), justice and peacefulness (third image). At night they are even more impressiva as during the day. Max Zwo is just the Bavarian lingo for Max II

Crane’s Bills are prototypical Bavarian plants. Window flower boxes with them, a facade with old fashioned shutters and above it blue sky dotted with white clouds – most of the non-Bavarians would say: this is it, the real thing, genuinely Bavaria.
