        1. Weisst Du was?

  2. Ah, this is really nice. The shapes are intriguing, but the red and yellow pipes surrounded by cool grays and greens makes a great color schema.

    1. Thanks, Carl. Again ex post I discovered that in this image one primary color is missing – blue, and all the colors are somewhat muted. Could become my recipe for color-but-not-vivid images

  3. According to Wikipedia, the height of a person changes also due to the amount of exercise (usually reverse correlation), so someone could explain: “Well, I took this photograph just after running a marathon…”

Myself, I shoot often waist-high, peeking at the LCD. Somehow this has become a natural viewpoint.

    1. Yes, Juha, since I have a camera with tiltable display, I enjoy going higher or deeper than I did before with the SLR viewfinder. Re. the marathon thesis: as this was after a 12h workday + 2h commuting, I should have been substantially smaller than I normally am. But with camera over the head I might have compensated this (though I am not sure if I really did)

    1. Strangely is the right word, Mike – I would have had trouble to explain why I was taking a photograph of that scenery. But of course now I am glad I did, as the combination of handrail shapes and colors with the background work so well.
