In case you ask “which queen?”: The shadow (to the right) reminded me of a chess token of a queen.
Titles are difficult beasts for sure, and I often find hard to fight a suitable one. No titles are not necessarily better, and they make images on the web almost invisible except for the regular visitors of a website. So maybe I’ve gone to far in the present case, as I really can’t realistically imagine…
An image from this April which somehow didn’t get shown here. In case you wonder about the lighting situation: behind me was a big glass facade, which mirrored the sunlight.
Couldn’t come up with any meaningful title for this collection of shapes. But I like the image nonetheless.
When I was a boy, only taxies and hearses were black. Now it seems that all else cars are black, but hearses are grey and taxies beige. Tempora mutantur.
This image is from four weeks back, when leaves were still rare on the trees. And technically it did astonish me, as the Olympus 9-18mm mFT lens usually doesn’t get high marks for image quality. Yet those filigree twigs are rendered really sharp at 9mm and CA were minor and easy to correct.
