Most probably unknown to its owners, the shape of these tents clearly imitates the Turkish tents seen next to Vienna in 1683. This historic event is one of the (non-outspoken) reasons of the widespread opposition against Muslim immigrants in all too many European countries. For decades it existed only in the hidden, but now it shamelessly produces itself in public and gathers followers only too willing to believe in simple solutions for complex problems.

Looking at this in broad daylight, it is probably a similar mechanism as the popular fear of snakes, while a tenthousandfold number of humans is killed by cars every year.
