  1. Thanks, Colin. I have a special connection with that image, as it is the first time that I was able to overcome my feeling of disaffirmation for that building. That kind of post-modern style I always saw as unfitting for an old spa town. But suddenly, in the right light, it offered a visual quality that I can’t deny. And the tree in the foreground as well as the mountain in the background are vital elements for this. Only with the colors I am still struggling – the new camera requires adjustments in my workflow.

  2. Somehow this architecture doesn’t evoke a “spa-feeling” … more a
    “The prison was a tidy fortress of unambiguous shapes”
    feeling.

    1. Oh well, in the seventies the “Macher” were so convinced that everything is possible and men and machines are the measurements of all things. Now they’ve learned to hide a bit.
