Since quite some time I have switched the viewfinder of my camera to monochrome mode. I like the abstraction already when framing, and sometimes it helps me discovering things I might have overlooked while being distracted by color.

World first – #FridaysForFuture
The youth protest movement #FridaysForFuture is all too easily dismissed as a gathering of truants, and to belie this disparaging belief, my daughters organized a rally today, on the last friday of school holidays. For our small town there was a good crowd of ~150 250 people of all age groups. Quite a success, but certainly only a stage win on the way to a future for the next generation.
The next rally is already planned!
