The death of Leonard Cohen I feel as a great loss.
That I would even forget yesterday’s 10th anniversary of this blog, and now commemorate it in such a dark mood, I had not anticipated.

Nevertheless – Happy Birthday to the blog! One of the good thing in these dark times. Your blog.
Thank you, Martina! I’ll try to keep up the good spirit, but the amount of energy this needs becomes bigger and bigger.
Congratulations on 10 years! I think Carl Weese just celebrated 10 years, also. Keep up the good work, in the dark times and the bright.
Thank you, David! Yes, Carl started his blog just some months earlier than me, albeit on another level. In those 10 years I’ve come a long way, and I am still energetic enough to motivate myself to bring and use the camera as often as possible. Only my interest in gear has suffered substantially – for good, as this leaves the time to work with pictures.
Belated congrats on your anniversary! I’ve been preoccupied here and missed it.
Thanks, Carl! I had almost missed it myself with all the turmoil caused by that president-elected 🙁

Definitely waiting for that crack, Uwe. Maybe at winter solstice …
