Tom, Munich in a certain sense is still a boom town (probable not in U.S. terms, but in German standards) and there’s quite a number of people that want to spend big money for such an exclusive housing situation – not comparable to a newly built high riser.
I know this power plant from the times when I was a kid, and now it dominates the skyline when I look out of the windows – quite some continuity!
Beautiful shot, the light is perfect. I like to think that if I had that kind of money I could do something more sensible with it, but maybe that’s partly why I don’t have that kind of money.
