  1. You have a real knack for composing these urban shots. The best part of course is the way the tree shadow looks like it belongs to the lamp post. Judging by the title I assume that was your intent and quite brilliant it is too. I really wish I’d made this shot.

      You know, I am longing often for traveling, an extended trip to remote areas and the like. But then, images like this one spring into existence in very familiar surroundings like the daily commute. What makes me happy is that the ability to see seems to be not necessarily harmed by a long and tedious working day.

    1. Florian, die Stadt ist natürlich *das* Pflaster für Selbstdarsteller, und weil es München ist, darf die Darstellung gern auch ein bißchen ländlich angehaucht sein. Rupfenschick passt hervorragend zu Bambi-Wimpern, und ein Stadtbaum nur mit Schattenästen passt als Statist ganz wunderbar in die Bussi-Gesellschaft.

  3. La composition est, en effet, excellente et nous montre un fragment urbain qui parle de nous de bien des façons. C’est la représentation de la femme placée au même niveau que celle d’une canalisation, d’une vitrine, d’éléments de murs. Et les reflets que l’on devine ne permettent pas d’être plus optimiste. Bref, c’est le monde avec lequel nous devons nous débrouiller chaque jour…

    1. Sorry for my inability to answer in Italian, Robert – even French (which I learnt decades ago at school for 3 years) brought me to my limits. But this is maybe *the* aspect of the internet I like most: that it can bring together people from all corners of the world sharing a common interest and exchanging opinions and ways to look at things.
