  1. PS: I really like the shot as well. For once, the edge-into-burnout of highlights in a digital capture is working perfectly. Each generation of sensor is giving us more control over the tonal range of our pictures and you’ve taken excellent advantage of it here.

      Re. the sensor, the OM-D is astonishing. Definitely a milestone better in this regard than the G3, where I had to be really careful not to blow the highlights. My guess is 1.3 f-stops headroom with recoverable detail. Admittedly the Sony A700 had spoilt me – it had 2.0 f-stops available, which I found really astonishing.
