  1. Very interesting shot. I love these kinds of images. Somebody actually designed this set up. Well spotted. It looks great!

    1. Tony, for me it shows a bit of organic growth over the decades. Whenever a new gadget was installed, the extended the setup. And such before-the-wall-installations are a clear sign of a moderate climate – in Germany, the deep winter temperatures would clearly forbid such an arrangement of pipes.

  2. wow … das ist wahrlich ein meisterwerk und dein geübtes auge hat das natürlich sofort erfasst … nach kurven ohne ende, hat der meister es endlich geschafft und alles fliesst in das gewünschte 🙂

    1. Ich bewundere diese Installation auch, Walter – und sie ist ziemlich genau das Gegenteil von der Aufgeräumtheit, die man in Deutschland und der Schweiz gewohnt ist.

  3. In Germany it wouldn’t be only the winter temperatures that forbid this kind of installation – I am sure none of our DIN’s etc. would allow this, too.
    I like the pov – makes for a very three dimensional effect.

    1. And, Martina, it doesn’t look “ordentlich” – I was in Ludwigsburg/Baden Württemberg last week, and in the Ländle Ordnung really seems to culminate.

  4. … wobei mir die deutschen ordentlichen din-gerechten Installationen im wirklichen Leben schon ganz lieb sind – wenn ich ehrlich bin 😉

    1. Ja – das hat einiges für sich, auch wenn wir buchstäblich hohe Preise dafür zahlen. Aber es funktioniert, meistens lang, und unliebsame Überraschungen bleiben sicher seltener als in so einem “Gewächs”
