It’s certainly not a Moore, but, well, it could be, isn’t it? Interesting enough that the nautical expression “mooring” for the guy ropes is so strikingly near to this sculptor’s name.
Martina, Minor White suggested to ask “what else could it be” and not to stick with the simple denomination of the subject matter. And I think that it’s one of the main tasks of the artist to encourage us to open our eyes and mute that left brain accountant in our head.
