Martha, Ken: Thanks for the praise. The image above turned out to be the best of a whole series of similar images – hard to stop once started – and needed a bit of tweaking in bibble. Rarely I do increase saturation, but here I found it positive for the overall impression.
When I set out to pick up photography again, I always dreamed of landscape photography. It turned out that it’s not only difficult and time consuming, but the way is also plastered with traps. So pieces of landscape like this one I cherish very much – and your positive remark even more – especially as I do not often find a time window to pursuit this passion.
