    1. The strange thing is, that I this more or less is a thing of gut feeling. I had taken one frame just seconds earlier, with the man more or less facing me, and it doesn’t work half as well. Sometimes all seems to be about pure visceral reactions. But men are supposed to be good at this 😉

    1. Thanks, Marcie. I could not have planned that, but over the years I have developed a certain alertness, and from time to time it pays out.

    1. When reviewing this image I suddenly recognized that headlight of the motobike, giving the impression as if somebody was watching, maybe following this guy. Similarly this street light is almost bent down, like focusing on him. But I have to admit that this kind of choice for a post title is easily somewhat artificial…

  1. Indeed, now that I look at the photograph again, it does match the title. I guess my initial encounter was in a very different mood, so I saw a different story in the photograph.

Well, as they (or Heraclitus) say, you cannot step twice into the same river.

    1. Juha, the world would probably be boring, if everybody saw the same in every image – and that maybe everytime when confronted with the same picture. With an open mind we all profit from the different facettes that resonate with the viewing individuals.
