Your inclusion of location-link with these pictures leads me to walking the streets in Google Street View, and remembering Brussels (that I visited very briefly in 2005). But I find the poor condition of the remaining old buildings and the growing mass of un-human newer buildings replacing them to be so very saddening. This is true of so many of Europe’s grand old cities—reduced to shambles by wars. Damn! It’s too early to start drinking. And I am getting too old.
