Monday’s strike of the railways workers union at least in hindsight proofed to be personally profitable again: Of the 4 hours I had to kill waiting for the first train, I spent 30 min in drizzle, sleet and snowflakes walking through the town with the camera in my cold, almost dead hands (btw, is there something like a National Camera Association?), but was rewarded with some images I seriously like, at least at first sight. I will have to print some and see how they stand the test of longer term evaluation. This is stated with a nod to David from onthecorkboard.blogspot.com/, whose blog gave me one more push to look at my images not only on the screen.
A “city tree,”—nice.
Schwarz und Weiß,
Figur und Grund,
Linie und Fläche.
