Got to see Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee play in a small bar in Berkley, CA a long time ago. I have always been a fan of their music and have a couple CDs.
This is something I do envy you! Blues seen from far apart might so easily be seen from a romantic perspective, which it is not. In their playing I hear both, grief and hope.
