The “Charles Hotel” letters certainly would support this (albeit the height of the buildings are probably ridiculous in comparison to the real thing), but the “Feuerwehrzufahrt” sets it straight again.
Thanks, Eric! When I photograph, I rarely have time to think about rules, however I do this during postprecessing and sometimes I am really astonished how good the optical center of an image matches the golden section, or, what I like even more, the center of a fibonacci spiral.
