Rehearsing an instrument is not always a joyful time for a kid, and therefore the moments where the music grabs the mind and inspires the phantasy are even more precious. When this happened and she grabbed music paper and a pencil, I was happy to have the camera at hand, and even more happy to have that phantastic old 1.4/85mm lens.
Darn nice photograph.
Thanks, Stephen. I count myself lucky that I was able to capture this moment.
She’s so pretty. I like this unposed capture and the soft pink hue.
Sherri, as my kids know my ubiquitous camera and as it was late, she remained fully concentrated on her self-assigned task and simply forgot me photographing.
