  1. Das mutet nach den Meldungen der letzten Tage nicht mehr ganz so brausend schön an. Oder ist das etwa sonst ein kleiner frecher Bach und ist nun angeschwollen?
    Als Bild jedenfalls – ohne Tief Bernd im Hinterkopf – lädt es zu einer erfrischenden Dusche ein.

    1. Wenn man die Bilder aus Nordrhein-Westfalen und Rheinland-Pfalz sieht, verlieren solche Wasserfall-Bilder ohne Zweifel ihre Unschuld.

      Aber bei uns gab’s bis jetzt zwar viel, aber keinen außergewöhnlich starken Regen, und so blieb der Frechenbach bis jetzt Quelle für Abkühlung und Inspiration für Sommerbilder.

  2. I have been reading of terrible flooding in Germany. Hope this is not where you are. Perhaps this photo was taken before the floods. Your photo does look cool in every sense of the word.

  3. We are safe, Jeff, thanks God! Germany is a quite small country in terms of area, but very diverse in structury, with many secondary mountain ranges in between. This time the floodings remained constricted to (area-wise) small regions in the West, while we in South-Eastern Germany didn’t even get extraordinary rainfalls.

    But we had our share of floodings in 2015, albeit not such desastrous ones in terms of losses of lives.
