I think your monochrome handling of the snow subjects is working really well. And the mountain settings are spectacular. You seem have more snow there than we got here in southern New England this year.
Carl, while we tend to get snow until Easter (at least the development in the last decades shows a shift of the snow by roughly two weeks into spring), normally this late snow will not last for more than 3 days. But at the moment we have it for more than a week, garnished with beautiful weather situations.
