That’s an interesting improvement to a hideous building…
Now of course the building is run down, but I guess it was all the rage when it was brand new in the seventies
This may be an architectural style called brutalist. The main asset, I think, was cheap construction. But I rather like the graffiti, at least it is neatly done.
Jeff, the “being cheap” certainly was taken to the maximum, and so this building now will not get renovated any more but instead taken down. Talk about all that “grey energy” wasted.
But the message of the graffiti certainly can not be repeated often enough in our times.
