I’ve seen the landscape look like that many, many times, either as I’ve finished a walk in the hills and am walking back along the road to my car, or when I’m driving. You’ve captured the feel of a drizzly day very well.
Admittedly, I love thoses sceneries, Colin. Not so much when having to spend some more hours in the rain, but seeing how the landscape transforms in this kind of weather is astonishing for me, and attractive.
A “soft” day in Ireland. Always surprised me how empty the Irish countryside can be. This is a great image with fine composition.
Thanks, Jeff! Given the small number of Irish people and their concentration in the cities – life in the countryside is not really simple, job opportunities are more than rare – empty places for me seemed to be far more frequent than for example here in Bavaria, where there seems to be a clocktower visible from almost any point in the landscape.
