Colin, as I saw him sitting and drinking here every day, I guess he’s over any hangovers.
Let’s hope so and that he was sober enough to ride that bike home! It’s a very good picture story, interesting in that it can only be realised by seeing both pictures together. It made me think about the possibilities of a series of such stories though I suspect that might be quite difficult to achieve.
With that subject I was glad to get two frames without raising his suspicion – the usual camp ground noise did help. But very often such stories in form of image series can be real gems. W. E. Smith’s Minamata series is such an essay that I will never get out of my mind again.
Since quite a while I am considering to participate in a workshop. Storytelling/Reportage, especially in the humanitarian field, is high on my wish list. But up to now the right occasion did not com up.
