Fences in Sri Lanka have not only the purpose to protect the property, but also to protect the dwellers from being seen by everyone passing by. So there is usually a blind at eye-height enhancing the lower wired part. In Batticaloa on the east coast of Sri Lanka I found a variety of materials for these blinds.

On many campgrounds trailers stay there even off season, protected against weather and dirt. The trailers here I found on the island of Krk in Croatia. Transformed by the wrapping foils, they seem to have changed their form of existence.

I collected those images in the harbour of Krk on Krk, Croatia. What began as a loose collection turned out to have a strong common denominator: An intensive red that became even more prominent against the blues and black found in their neighbourhood.

Complementing the "Red Ship Details" here I concentrated on the blue color. The blue ships in Krk harbour all are older, so this gallery emphasizes more the decaying colors.
