  1. Simplicity! I really like the reduced range of tones and use of subtle colours to delineate the shapes ~ something I’m not very good at allowing myself to do.

  2. Yes, simplicity. Very often the best images are the simplest ones. Not to mention the excellent use of all those diagonals!

  3. Thanks, Colin and Paul. Simplicity can be compelling, especially as it gets overlooked often and so becomes a scarce good when isolated and presented. But in that wonderful world of photography also the contrary can hold true: Finding that moment when a complex arrangement reaches a kind of “peak” when everything aligns and turns from seemingly disorder into a composition. Certainly both is worth pursuing.
